ART SG, Southeast Asia’s largest-ever art fair, will return to the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre from 19 – 21 January 2024.
The inaugural edition in January 2023 featured 164 leading international galleries and welcomed 43,000 visitors from Singapore, Southeast Asia, and across the Asia Pacific, marking the beginning of a major new chapter for the art market in Asia. The Fair will showcase exceptional artworks across painting, sculpture, photography, installations, and new experimentations in digital and blockchain art, accompanied by a line-up of groundbreaking art installations, engaging panel discussions, and experimental film screenings.
As the official Cultural Partner of ART SG, Art Outreach has facilitated a suite of working and learning opportunities for art school students and individuals with a passion for art, who would like to gain exposure to the logistics of running an international art fair, while developing practical industry skills.
We are looking for 20–30 fair and gallery assistants to support the fair by providing a welcoming, professional, and informative experience for visitors. Depending on your role, your duties will include assisting in way-finding, fielding visitor queries on artworks and programming, ensuring the safety of artwork installations by enforcing rules in a firm but courteous manner, providing program support including managing visitor flow and seating for talks and film screenings, and supporting galleries with sales and interfacing with clients.
