Transformative 7: The Flow of Time

Ever since January 2020, Singapore based artist Vivian Lee, has been working on a large 10meter piece installation using paper as its medium. The work was a response to the uncertainty and fear that the pandemic has brought upon her personally. The installation will be presented in the exhibition for visitors to come and look at the details.

About the Artist(s)

Eun Vivian Lee, originally from Seoul, Korea, lived over 20 years in NYC and now lives and works out of Singapore. Her work requires labor intensive approach and process oriented and strives for particular aesthetic of beauty in creating her works on paper.

Her series contain of the circles, discs of color, and dots which do not seem fixed in the physical world. Eun’s unrestrained use of color seems to appropriately present itself in just the right balance. She creates dots/circles in which manipulates pure pigment with an alchemist’s instincts in an approach that leaves her work vibrantly colored and visual representation of molecules or particles that make up emotions.
