Art Outreach Singapore | Gillman Barracks

Part of Singapore Art Week 2025, Singkarpor REMIXED by celebrated Singaporean photographer Aik Beng Chia (ABC) reimagines over 15 years of iconic street photography in a series of large-scale photographic collages. Blending humor, candid moments, and the unmistakable energy of Singapore, ABC's works move beyond individual snapshots to present a panoramic view of the nation's evolving urban landscape. From the bustling streets of Chinatown and Little India to the quiet corners of Punggol and Sengkang, these collages encapsulate the vibrancy and multicultural identity of a city where traditions intermingle and cultures converge.

Drawing from his extensive archive, ABC weaves moments of joy, resilience, and everyday life into unfiltered glimpses of Singapore's soul. In his vision, every face and every scene shines, honoring the uniqueness of its people and the essence of a nation in constant flux. Singkarpor REMIXED is a love letter to Singapore, told through the lens of one of its most passionate chroniclers.
