OFF OUR WALLS

AND ONTO YOURS

Off the Wall is a sustainable art exhibition series, featuring artists live-painting wall murals in Art Outreach's gallery space over a period of two months. During this time, the public is invited to visit and witness the creative process firsthand!

The site-specific murals will then be photographed in

high-resolution, and made into prints for public purchase in support of the artists and Art Outreach.

GRAFFITI AS A DYNAMIC AND EVOLVING FORM

DSCF1858-1600.jpg

Off the Wall 2025 presents LETTER/FORMS, featuring works by BEINGS, Chong Wah, and NIC.K—three artists whose practices are anchored in the visual language of graffiti. In their hands, the alphabet and letterform become more than tools of communication; they become the foundation of identity, movement, and abstraction.

Each artist approaches graffiti as a dynamic and evolving form, reinterpreting its conventions through their distinct styles and influences. Letters are stretched, distorted, and reconfigured, transcending legibility to become expressive forms that embody rhythm, energy, and narrative. From calligraphic fluidity to architectural precision, each mural reveals a unique visual language, inviting viewers to reconsider the expressive potential of the letterform.

For the third edition, Art Outreach becomes both studio and showcase, as BEINGS, Chong Wah, and NIC.K live-paint large-scale murals that stretch the expressive possibilities of the letterform. Visitors are invited to witness the process unfold and take shape in bold and unexpected ways.

BEINGS

@SIMPLEPROBLEMBEINGS

BEINGS is a Singapore-based creative project that explores the intersection of graffiti, character design, and futurist abstraction. Inspired by the bold visuals of 1980s hip-hop culture, BEINGS transforms graffiti letterforms into shape-shifting figures that challenge traditional ideas of the human form.

Through this evolving visual language, BEINGS constructs a bold and imaginative universe where street culture, form, and movement converge. The project reflects a continual pursuit of artistic freedom, exploring identity, fluidity, and visual storytelling through a distinctly experimental lens.

NIC.K

@NIC______K

NIC.K is a Singaporean graffiti artist whose practice is grounded in the fundamentals of stylewriting. He approaches graffiti as a form of urban calligraphy, shaped by rhythm, movement and flow.

Inspired by the worldwide graffiti movement, his work reflects how the letterform can be shaped by its social, geographical and cultural contexts—exploring how identity and tradition are encoded in the evolution of lettering across cultures.
