Mini Open Studio

3 - 12 March 2023, 11am - 8.30pm

>INPUT>OUTPUT is an exhibition and a mini open studio that provides a holistic view of the art-making process of an interactive installation artist. Alongside the artist’s interactive installations, viewers will see technical breakdowns and the art-making process live. The exploded views of electronics and components used would be displayed, and the artist will also be present in the space, building his next interactive installation

About the Artist(s)

Mahyuddin Chan, or Din Chan (b. 1989, Singapore), is an interactive installation artist and art therapist. Using technology as his medium, his work engages not just the viewers' gaze, but also their senses and the physicality of their bodies. Through such interactivity, viewers are invited to be collaborators in the art-making process, creating a multi-faceted and inclusive vision together. Din graduated with a MA in Art Therapy (2021) as a recipient of the Red Pencil Scholarship, and a BA (Hons) in Fine Arts, both from LASALLE College of the Arts. Din is also a STEAM educator.
