Art Outreach is proud to be hosting a two-part exhibition by second-generation Singaporean artist Koeh Sia Yong from 4 Nov to 12 Dec 2021 at our space in Gillman Barracks.

Born in 1938 and graduated from NAFA, Koeh has spent over 50 years creating realistic and expressive paintings on diverse subject matters that celebrate the rich culture of Southeast Asia.

The first part of the exhibition, titled “Urbanisation” (from 4 – 22 Nov) explores Singapore’s changing landscape from post-WWII to independence; while the second part “Portraits of Bali” (from 24 Nov – 12 Dec) offers Koeh’s perspective on the idyllic beauty of the Indonesian island.
