This exhibition looks at particular love languages that have been a part of the artist's family and by extension, many other Asian families. From cut fruits to sewing motifs and techniques and healing remedies within the home in the past, these rituals are introduced as a way to look at acts of love and care, as well as stories of resilience and hope. About the Artist(s)
Adeline Kueh is a visual artist who makes installations and socially embodied works that reconsider the relationship we have with things and rituals around us. Using drawing as a conceptual tool, Adeline looks to cartographies, craft and oral tradition to map out the historical trajectories across time and space with her use of found objects and new productions.
