This exhibition brings together a selection of works that reflect the breadth of Ibrahim Mahama’s practice, from textile-based assemblages and hand-sewn jute compositions to works incorporating archival documents and found materials. Shaped by processes of stitching, layering and accumulation, the works surface histories of labour, trade and movement embedded within their material forms.
