Sudhee Liao (b. 1990) obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts
degree from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts
majoring in Contemporary Dance and Choreography. Her
practice, which integrates movement with different materials,
is an ongoing exploration encapsulating the intangible and
tangible forms. She is an interdisciplinary choreographer and
movement artist and plays a multifaceted role as a thought
provoking artist. She contributes to the cultural landscape by
delving into themes from cultural identity and societal norms
to human connection and existentialism, challenging
conventional boundaries and offering new perspectives.
Amidst the ebb and flow of her surroundings, her work is a
response to the nuances and intricacies that define the
human experience. She is currently an educator at School of
the Arts, sharing her knowledge and experience to the
younger generation of dancers and performers in Singapore.
