Summit Alumni
Ashley YK Yeo (b. 1990) is an artist specialising in drawing
and papercuts, with 12 years of undergraduate teaching
experience and 13 years of professional practice exhibiting
internationally.
Her practice explores alternative frameworks for time and
duration. Informed by nature and the environment around her,
she works with various mediums to present encounters with
atmospheres of lightness, alluding to the soft and fragile.
Drawing, installations, and sculptures serve as ways to reflect
on the social environment.
Her recent work continues the exploration of contemporary
landscapes through the study of geometrical forms and
natural materials, unfolding the poetic and symbolic nuances
inherent in simple structures.
